Responsible for marketing, creative development, master planning, project management, client relations, scheduling, budgeting, hiring, contract negotiations and payroll for employees and sub-contractors.  Created numerous conceptual designs, illustrations and plans for themed attractions.

 

September 2004 - March 2006

Sally Corporation, Jacksonville, FL

Senior Designer.  Responsible for conceptual, schematic, and production design.  Creative direction for scenic and art finish. Supervision and mentoring of other designers.  Project management and client relations. Major projects include dark ride attractions for Hershey Park, Astrid Lingred Land, Holiday World and Hard Rock Park.

 

March 2003 to September 2004

Entech Creative, Orlando FL

Scenic Shop Manager.  Responsible for supervising and art directing a crew of twenty-one artists and fabricators. Projects included the Disney World 25th anniversary castle icon, Universal Studios Fear Factor Live show and the Hong Kong Disney Castle and Princess Floats.  Field supervised delivery and assembly of the floats in Hong Kong.

Creative Development Manager.  Responsible for conceptual developement, production design, art direction and project management of themed props and scenery.  Major projects include Ripley's Believe It or Not animated shark facade at Ocean City, MD, the Mutiny Bay Pirate ship, The First Tee Center,  Exterior themeing elements for the White Sands Resort, and various signage and scenic props for Six Flags parks.
